Righty, as you know I am quite good with my bets, I have placed the following bet at 3950/1 (yes you read that right)

 

I put the bet down that the following teams will go through

 

Barcelona, Milan, Chelsea, Arsenal, Shaktar Donetsk, FC Porto, CSKA Moscow, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Lille, Manchester United, Benfica, Real Madrid, Olympic Lyonaisse, Valencia, Marsaille.

 

My local William Hill gave me those odds, they will vary on where you go too, however that was the best odds available. Reason it is so high is because of the following teams - Shaktar Donetsk, FC Porto, Lille, Olympic Lyonaisse and Marsaille.

 

I will be ecstatic if I win that!

 

Anyone gonna place a bet as well?

look at some of my sporting bets I have predicted on here in the past (I have around an 80% accuracy). Usually my forte is Rugby, however I dip into football. Never do races as it is too unpredictable.

Also, because of the nature that they would all be going through at roughly the same time, it is not an accumulator, despite the fact that the manager wanted to put it as such...I explained it would not work like that due to the fact that teams can go through at any point after the 4th game.

I normally bet in play on football, especially when the favs have gone behind. Man U come from behind quite a lot.

I'm not with you on the accumulator thing?

basically the manager wanted it to be an accumulator so that if one team goes through, then the next in concurrent order etc, and if one goes out all is lost.

 

However I explained that as it is not possible to be an accumulator due to the nature of the group stages, it should be a static bet, if one team doesnt go through at any point then yes, the best is lost. if all teams go through the bet is won. He was happy with that, but had to calculate the odds completely and it came out as such, I took it
