Rawns Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 Does anyone know if a iPhone 4 micro SIM card will work in a different smartphone like an HTC if inserted in a micro to standard SIM adaptor? I can't seem to find a definite answer anywhere. The mussis broke her iPhone 4 and is thinking about getting a cheaper alternative like an HTC Sensation but wants to be sure the SIM can be used in a different phone.

Its not a special iPhone one. +1 but one thing to note, you should get the APN settings (aka settings for net connection) to use on the new phone as iphone uses a different set on most networks to allow for different billing.
Stuart_C Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 Yep. Worked mine for me when I swapped mine out when mine went wappy. (luckily it was only in for a couple of hours whilst I found how to fix my phone on google)
