IP Range: 172.16.31.255

Subnet: 255.255.224.0

 

DHCP Relay: 172.16.0.1 (Domain Controller with DHCP)

 

Primary Comms Master Switch: 172.16.0.40

Primary Comms Sub Switch: 172.16.0.41

 

Secondary Comms Master Switch: 172.16.0.50

Secondary Comms Sub Switch: 172.16.0.51

 

Master and Sub Switches are Stacked, Primary and Secondary Masters linked by Fibre Optic.

 

For some reason it seems to take atleast 30 seconds for clients to be allocated with an IP address on the network. The switches are Cisco SGE-2000 Managed, any ideas as to possible causes of the slowness or settings which could be causing this?

Rapid, same thing with a different name.
