Windows 7 dialogue box issue (remove users name) links to local profile

just finishing my windows 7 install and i have come across a little issue that might confuse people

while using office the user goes to file and open the user then sees desktop,DVD drive Network home folder and other network shares but underneath a link to the users name is listed can i remove this i only want the network shares to be shown

the users name seems to point to the local profile that is created when they log on

i would really like this to not appear

we are using mandatory profiles if that makes any difference

Thanks in advance

Sounds like you've not changed the default open/save locations?

Do they have access to wherever you're saying you don't want them to see normally? (Would help if you could do a screeny, not sure what username part you mean)

If you just don't want them having access to that (and they normally can't), you could set the default open/save location to somewhere else in the profiles.

Not sure I'm afraid. Haven't used 03 office in a while. Have you tried setting a different "local" default save location, as in it's mapped to a drive, not to the UNC path?
