Liam Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 I am currently reviewing how staff report issues. We have a helpdesk system implemented at present but getting staff to use it is another problem!! They tend to send us an email so as a resulk i thought it would be good to use an outlook form. I have requested a trial for ccs service request as this does what i need but at a price. Had anyone got an outlook form that i could look at for this purpose?
Jamman960 Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 If your helpdesk supports it I'd suggest setting it up to accept jobs via email
joe90bass Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 ^ What he said! ^ We use Spiceworks which does just that, a few staff use the form to submit jobs, most use email to a helpdesk mailbox.
MK-2 Posted August 2, 2011 Posted August 2, 2011 I concur with the above. WebHelpdesk does the same, monitoring a certain inbox for emails and then parsing them into support tickets. If this isn't possible with your helpdesk software, then perhaps you create an email template that people use with things like Room Problem Urgency Staff member etc
