Editing module positions in joomla 1.6

Has anyone any experience of adding extra modules in a joomla 1.6 template?

 

At the moment my site looks like this with the module position showing Test site joomla 1.6

 

I would like to split the logo module in two so i had logo and logo 2.

 

This way I could put some sort of slideshow up at the top in one module and have the site name in the other.

 

Has anyone any idea how this can be achieved?

 

I am furiously googling at the moment to try and find out. i will update if I find a solution.

I have found a work around. I move the user modules above the logo modules in the index.php
