I'm looking to get a set of Apple TV gizmo's for the school to go with my Ipad 1's, and I've heard there's a problem with getting these things to work over a proxy.

Anyone got any knowledge of this?

Got wired and wireless networking, proxy is a non-authentication setup run by LEA/council, just an address and port number.

Last thing I want to do is spend £100 per item on something that doesn't work because of stupid tech limitations.

bump, I'm looking to order these today.

Has noone here used one of these things in a proxy environment that can say if it can/cannot do proxies?

It runs iOS like the iPad and iPhone. They both support proxies so i cant see why this cant. On my iPhone i have to use a .pac file to allow exceptions.
