rad Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 Hows it work, got a student who has work on there and it seesm to be blocked here...
plexer Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 If it's been blocked by your LEA or whatever then you will not be able to access it simples. Ben
featured_spectre Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 it attaches itself to your file structure and works quite well here
tech_guy Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 I use it for personal use but we've been advised as staff by our LA that we can't use it for any work files as there may be a data protection issue as the data is hosted in America.
free870 Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 Not to mention the recent contreversy over it TOS, duplication etc. Also the Windows Client installs per user.
rad Posted July 8, 2011 Author Posted July 8, 2011 Ahh cheers guys, blocked by lea but available via T-Mobile and HTC! I'd only do this to good students, this is one of those cases you don't mind going the extra mile...
computer_expert Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 Not to mention the recent contreversy over it TOS, duplication etc. Also the Windows Client installs per user. Also they recently had an authentication bug as explained here: Dropbox security fubar infuriates customers ? The Register
