jinnantonnixx Posted July 7, 2011 Report Posted July 7, 2011 (edited) Problem: Signed in using Android, all posts made using this user do not seem to be associated with the same user using a desktop system (specifically Firefox). For instance; posts made by my user from an Android phone cannot be edited by my user from Firefox. Similarly, the thread subscriptions do not match. A post made from the regular desktop site does not cause the full-site user to be subscribed to that thread and vice-versa. In summary, it's as if the mobile and regular users are two different users, even though they share the same credentials. Edited July 7, 2011 by ZeroHour
ZeroHour Posted July 7, 2011 Report Posted July 7, 2011 Hi This may have been a problem before I updated yesterday but all seems to be working for me now. NOTE: remember you can edit after a certain time period ( 6 hours ) and threads you posted before this mornings update may not have subscriptions linked but they should from this point.
jinnantonnixx Posted July 7, 2011 Author Report Posted July 7, 2011 I'll try it this morning (this post sent from desktop)
jinnantonnixx Posted July 7, 2011 Author Report Posted July 7, 2011 seems a ok now, all subscribed threads shoeing. sent from android.
jinnantonnixx Posted July 7, 2011 Author Report Posted July 7, 2011 'Tis fine now. Bug report can be closed (how do you do that?)
ZeroHour Posted July 7, 2011 Report Posted July 7, 2011 'Tis fine now. Bug report can be closed (how do you do that?) You cant close bugs as such in either version (only mods etc have the [Closed] tags that can be added as I usually close them) and prefixes cant currently be set on the mobile although that will be fixed soon. It was a problem with posts etc pre-this mornings update so you were not imagining it at such EDIT: keep an eye on http://www.edugeek.net/forums/behind-red-door/75910-edugeek-changelog.html for changes to the site.
