Share Point and Accessing User Home Directories

I'm looking for a way to publish pdf documents to users home directories and then have them (home directories) displayed on the users mysite page.

I have already worked out how to publish my pdf's to a series of home directories, I just need to get those directories onto the users mysite page.

 

I have looked a similar solution and even the commercial alternative .However, all I want to do is publish the the directory.

 

Any ideas?

From your description it sounds like you would be better off storing them within the My Sites themselves. Unless you actually need them in the home directories as well, then exposing a physical directory just to show some files is a hack. I have posted some code on my blog on how to bulk upload files into SharePoint.

Thanks for the code, can I just confirm that the code listed in your blog will upload documents,etc into each of the users mysites. For example each child would get their own music timetable.

No it's a general purpose PowerShell script to upload documents to a document library in SharePoint. It's a good base to start from, but will need modifying to do exactly what you want.
