teky Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 Hi guys, I'm creating a terminal server and need to increase the time the logon screen shows. Using 2008R2 for the terminal server and have changed the logon enviroment so that you log onto the server via the server logon screen, like that of 2003. Using a Win7 pc as the client currently, but should be using the new Windows Thin PC soon.
teky Posted July 4, 2011 Author Posted July 4, 2011 A clean install of windows 7 as a test, but will be moving to Microsoft's Thin PC solution soon
bart21 Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 How are you connecting to the server? Surely something like thinstation or ltsp would fit the bill better? Nick
tumbleweed Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\WinStations\RDP-Tcp\LogonTimeout dword - decimal 300 Gives a 5 minute timeout. 1
