Does anybody know a way of setting up MRBS so that you can have a single room in 2 locations?

For example we have our entire school rooms in the system but would also like an Area which is just computer rooms although we would like to keep them in the normal areas.

For example we have areas for a block, b block, c block, g block. each contain 3 it rooms.

We would then like to have an area called Computer Rooms which then has each of the 3 rooms from each block inside it.

if its not possible then we will simply have to remove them from there block and then put them in the computer rooms but i would like to put them in both if possible.

I don't think this is possible with the default code. It might be worth posting it as a feature request on the mrbs mailing list.

You might be able to do something similar if you create a new html page with 2 (or more iframes) each one having an area. You could then see the computer rooms from a separate area as well as the rooms from that block. Something along the lines of:

Your browser does not support iframes.

You would need to figure out what number the areas are internally. The number is encoded in the links at the top left of the pages. Ours are 2 and 4. However, i don't think this does what you've asked for.

Yeah thats true - I might just try to re-write a page which will do what i wanted to do - if thats what is required that is what is required!

i would of just rather it was built in
