Smoothwall Network Guardian - Configration Options

The default install seems to be geared toward a box sitting between the network and my TMG/Unix gateways is there a guide to setting it up to be the firewall between the network and gateways and the fibre connection?

Yes and no - NG isn't designed to do that - you want the firewall product with the filter add-on. Same dog, different collar. Get your account manager to swap and change your licences. Ask them to talk to me if they get confused (but they shouldn't!)
