Cant install WUS

Just remoted in to install the service and it keeps coming up with this error

yep. up today. Just downloaded it from MS website. i will fit a new hard drive tomorrow (as planned) and try that.

 

40GB is not alot really.

 

its a Pent HT @ 3Ghz with 2gn of ram.

What happens if you go get the "WSUS 3.0 SP2" download and install it with that?

looking though that, its for sp1. I just downloaded the latest service pack and will try tomorrow.

i find in leeds schools i cant add it via the roles section as it cant download it (damn lln poxy servers) but if i download the wsus 3 sp2x64 direct from ms and run it it installs fine (once you get all the pre requisite roles/features installed which you have to do manually

I dont remember having a problem with LLN. Infact i think its 1 of the few things i havnt had a problem with regarding LLN

lasty time i tried to add it as a role on an 08/o8r2 box it just failed. It has been a while ive now got it on my pen drive so last few ive done ive just done manually anyway
