john316 Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 Hi We're just investigating if its possible to revoke MAK activations for Office 2010 at all? Can't spot any obvious way of disabling certain KMS activations in case of situations such as people leaving or reinstalls. We use KMS for our domain machines but we have some mini-laptops which we're looking to use MAK keys for as they aren't on the domain and have trouble with KMS activations. Any ideas? Thanks John Morris
ChrisMiles Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 You unfortunately cannot revoke MAK activations, however, assuming you have a software assurance agreement with Microsoft they will usually give you more if you have run out, at least, they did for us until we moved to kms.
strawberry Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 Kms will expire if it doesn't phone home over a certain time period, Kms "should" work ok as long as the dns record is there.
