Forefront Protection 2010 for Exchange Server - How is it licensed?

When we setup Exchange 2010 we purchased both standard and enterprise CALS for every member of staff. I am now looking at implementing Forefront Proection 2010 for Exchange server and from what I read on the Exchange licensing page (Forefront Protection 2010 for Exchange Server Licensing) it seems all you need is the enterprise CALS.

Can anybody confirm this or am I better seeking clarification from you licensing reseller?

If you get the Enterprise CALs you might as well use the hosted version - Forefront Online Protection for Exchange and save yourself messing around with Edge servers and save your bandwidth as all the spam gets stopped before it hits your firewall :)

Not following..... I've already got the enterprise CALS..... You don't need an Edge server as it will work on Hub Transport servers.

There's also an "in the cloud" filtering service available so you don't need to have software running locally. If you have Enterprise CALs look in your Online Services list in the Volume Licensing Service Center to see if it's available for activation.
