Recommendations for classroom refurbishment contractor?

Hello All,

 

Can anyone recommend any contractors for a classroom refurbishment? We're looking to convert our current IT room in to some kind of "multi use" room - possibly desks with integrated power and network points for use with laptops, maybe fancy pop-up screens inside desks (although I imagine that's going to be a bit beyond our budget). We've had one company come and take a look, we could just do with a couple more quotes for comparison. We're in central London - if anyone has any recent expereience of a good contractor, please say.

Hi there, yes I can recommend a company called Learning Spaces. We used them to design and refurbish our ICT suite. The guy who runs it is called Sam Stevens. They've got a website and a blog. He wrote an interesting article on flexible learning spaces on their blog which mentions about utilisation. We were certainly very pleased with the result. Not sure if I'm allowed to point you in their direction with a link so just look up their website, it's Learning Spaces (they are based in Loughton Essex) and look at their gallery pictures.
