Hi

Im installing windows 7 on around 30 or so NEC Powermate ML450 Desktop PC's and im unable to activate them via KMS as it comes up with and message saying there must be a qualifying OS. The Units cam with windows XP pro but i have formatated the Harddrive for the install. Would there be info in the BIOS that states if there is a qualifying OS on the machine? The HP units we have are fine.

Thanks

Im having the same issue with some VL260's , im thinking there must be something in the bios that is preventing it somehow. Even with the latest bios update and resetting the guid with tattuuid.exe it still misbehaves.

Strange, hopefully someone can shed some light on this.

Ive had this through from nec

Unfortunately we do not have any newer BIOS nor will any be forthcoming. Windows 7 is simply not compatible with this model.
