I am having a headache installing Sonar 7. Basically the package works for anyone who has admin access to local machine, but normal student users, the software prompts to be registered.

I found the post on the rm communities about adding writeaccess permissions for %AllUsersProfile%\Application Data\Identities\{CDD53BC7-9B4B-40fe-B401-838B3F5166D0} but it is not taken effect.

I have -

added permissions via writeaccess.ini

[%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\Identities\{CDD53BC7-9B4B-40fe-B401-838B3F5166D0}]

Everyone=0x1F01FF

and

[%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\Identities\{CDD53BC7-9B4B-40fe-B401-838B3F5166D0}\cxpdata31.cxp]

Everyone=0x1F01FF

file rule - %AllUsersProfile%\Application Data\Identities\{CDD53BC7-9B4B-40fe-B401-838B3F5166D0}\*.cxp

path rule - %AllUsersProfile%\Application Data\Identities\{CDD53BC7-9B4B-40fe-B401-838B3F5166D0} and %AllUsersProfile%\Application Data\Identities\{CDD53BC7-9B4B-40fe-B401-838B3F5166D0}\*.cxp

If I manually set everyone with full permission to the file cxpdata3.cxp once the package has installed, it works!

Anyone any other idea or suggests to see if these are being applied.

Many thanks
