Gossy Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Hi Nick, I'm getting reports from users that Safari on the Mac to download files aborts at 15.7k with an error of Operation could not be completed kCFErrorDomainCFNetwork Error 303. I've been able to reproduce this myself, but it seems to work fine using Firefox. Any ideas? Thanks John
AngryTechnician Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 According to CFNetwork Error Codes Reference, kCFErrorDomainCFNetwork 303 corresponds to: kCFErrorHTTPConnectionLost The connection to the server was dropped. This usually indicates a highly overloaded server. Not sure I agree with the diagnosis if it only happens with Safari, but Apple aren't exactly going to accept blame for an error, are they? nickbro Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 I'll do some testing on the latest beta of HAP+ to see if the issue is still present, will have to install Chrome & Opera to test, so bare with me. Seems odd that it works fine in FF & IE. It's looking like a webkit/opera issue (Chrome uses apples webkit). Will get back to you. Out of interest, are your HAP+'s behind a reverse proxy?

nickbro Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Is the HAP+ server behind a reverse proxy? That could be causing issues. I've tested my copy in Chrome, Firefox + IE and get no problems downloading files.
