Dos_Box Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 Can I request that Comic Sans is removed from the font list? Please? Before it's too late..........and we all start writing school memos and emails with it!
localzuk Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 Can I request that Comic Sans is removed from the font list? Please? Before it's too late..........and we all start writing school memos and emails with it! For the love of all that's good, please do this!!
p858snake Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 Yes Comic Sans should be banned I would have to second this.
creese Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 (edited) It's worse when people use it with big font Edited June 14, 2011 by ZeroHour

creese Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 (edited) Comic Sans Criminal - There's help available for people like you! Edited June 14, 2011 by ZeroHour
Dos_Box Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 I was, of course, joking. Having Comic Sans in your font list is a lot like having nuclear weapons. You don't use yours because the enemy also has it. It's a shame nobody told teachers this.
alan-d Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 I was getting more and more wound up reading this thread! Well don't read it then - simples!!
ZeroHour Posted June 14, 2011 Author Posted June 14, 2011 (edited) It is gone.... Calibri is in Now to edit it out of the previous posts.... Edited June 14, 2011 by ZeroHour
Admiral208 Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 Well don't read it then - simples!! If the tile of the thread was 'Article: we are now running vbulletin 4.1.4 as described by Comic Sans' I wouldnt have read it!! Talk about going off at a tangent.
creese Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 If the tile of the thread was 'Article: we are now running vbulletin 4.1.4 as described by Comic Sans' I wouldnt have read it!! Talk about going off at a tangent. It worked though, the awful font has gone.
GrumbleDook Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 Noooooo! Bring it back. I have now lost the final measure of degrading actions for idiots who post. Stage 1 - explain things in small words Stage 2 - explain things ironically Stage 3 - use sarcasm Stage 4 - repeat their last post but in Comic Sans just to show that you have to go to an extreme to make their words look even stupider! I have yet to use it but I hate to think of the alternatives. Possibly interpret their post in a modern jazz dance or perhaps get it read out by a reality TV star!

Talk about going off at a tangent. Eerrmm I was merely following the comment made by DB and others. I suppose a grammar and spell checker would be more useful for some folk though
