PaulBedford Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Anyone tried this? Free for Acer Educational customers. Wondering if that is the number of seats you have bought from Acer or not?! Acer for Education - Acer Classroom Manager
PaulBedford Posted June 8, 2011 Author Posted June 8, 2011 Hmph "This Software can only be installed on a machine from the Acer Group" should have guessed.
PeterW Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Time for some BIOS editing me thinks (probably violates acer's terms of use, do not take as a serious suggestion)
TheScarfedOne Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Speak very very nicely to your Acer Rep/Reseller- and if you have "lots" of Acer kit, they "may" be able to do something for you. It is rebadged NetSchool - and very pleased with it too.
Jose Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 don't Stone do the same thing, so if you have stone desktops and acer laptops then you can probably get this stuff working together.
featured_spectre Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 My Acer supplier told me that as long as we have more acer equipment than other stuff, it can be installed site wide.
rdhawkins Posted June 9, 2011 Posted June 9, 2011 You should be aware that Acer Classroom Manager can only connect to Acer Classroom Manager students, it is not compatible with NSS, Stone, RM etc. ACM can only be installed on Acer, Gateway, eMachines and Packard Bell equipment.
