doofusdog Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 What do other people do with the important passwords.. Currently I try to remember them, but every now and then one falls out of my head.. The ones for the servers mostly.. admin password for this that something else.. Write them down lock them somewhere? Write them in invisible ink, put them on a sticky note on the ceiling?
RabbieBurns Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 I use Keepass KeePass Password Safe Then I only need to remember one password. And its about 75 chars long ;p
featured_spectre Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 I have them documented into a "red bus" document, which is in a sellotaped envelope in our safe in the admin office...this is only if I leave or if I die or something extreme....as such it is the only location of the passwords...each one is different and I know them all in my head. It is known to the admin staff to only open upon authorisation from myself, or in the event of my death. extreme I know but hey, its a system that works

Ric_ Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 You mean you guys don't just have a Post-It Note stuck to your monitor? (Seriously... KeePass and an emergency domain admin password in the school safe)
Sheepy Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 Why School safe? in case of death? if your dead would you care? All in my head here...
