RabbieBurns Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 what is IAS called in 2008R2? I'm currently running it on 2003, and I want to retire the server and move all the radius authentications to 2008R2 but I cant even figure out what the role is called. Also, is there a way to export and import all the settings from IAS to 2008R2?
Norphy Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Under 2k8, it comes under the NPS (Network Protection Services) umbrella along with a couple of other bits and pieces. Don't know if you can import settings from IAS though! 1
spc-rocket Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 Hi, As the other person said that role is now changed to Network Protection Services or NPS. You can now migrate the IAS settings to NPS using the tool MS provides. Check out the info on the link below instructions.
