Rammie Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 Anyone know what character encoding scheme is used by Alice? We exported the bibio stuff and the vast majority of it is plain ASCII. However, there are a few foreign book titles and authors in there, with accented character codes (two-byte). The foreign letters are prefixed with codes like 0xE2, 0xE4, 0xE8 etc, which modify them to acute accent, grave accent, umlaut and so on. Is this proprietry or does it have a named scheme?
