[windows software] Moving a (Dev) Server on a Technet license into (Prod) on a Different (Valid) license

Say I build a 2008R2 vm using my (or work) Technet keys to test Microsoft WonderPants or whatever.

 

And I decide to deploy MS Wonderpants on 2008R2 in production, but would like to simply relicense the VM and sling onto the production host servers rather than building a new one from scratch.

 

If I have sufficient 2008R2 licenses for the hosts and (if it's separately licensed) the WonderPants license, can I simply point it at the production KMS and call it done?
