[sims] Publishing FMS via Citrix [Solved]

Hi

 

Can anyone please advise how to work around BDE errors when trying to run FMS via Citrix.

FMS works fine on the main server that holds the FMS and SIMS databases, Citrix is linking to.

Currently the Citrix Server holds the Sims .net folder and this contains the FMSSQL.

 

The error currently given when trying to run FMS via Citrix is: “Exception EDBEngineError in module Finance.exe at 0007A8E6. An error occurred while attempting to initialize the Borland Database Engine (error $210A)”.

 

Is that permissions related?

Hi

 

This has been resolved. On checking the Citrix server setup their installation didn't include infrastructuresetup.exe so BDE wasn't installed!

 

Installed and all running OK.
