Internal IIS webserver stopped serving webpages?

Does anyone recognise this problem?

We have three websites served from the one virtual server on IIS.

Today none of them are working from the shortcuts we usually use eg. http://server:82.mls.net

I can't get to them either via IP address BUT if I connect to the server i can view them by going to http://localhost:82/mls.net etc.

 

Any ideas?

Check your DNS server is pointing to the correct IP for "server"

I thought it might be DNS but it won't go via IP address either!

Network interface that IIS is bound to? Firewall?

someone been messing with the bindings? application pools?

Strangely it's now working. Ben, my colleague, took the server off a static IP address and put it on dhcp. Then repaired the connection and it started working again?
