One of our teachers is trying to open a publisher document which contains pictures using publisher 2000. The document was created using Publisher 2000 approx a year ago. Since then the PC has been upgraded from windows 2000 to XP (service pack 3). When opening the document the following message appears:

There is not enough memory to display a picture.

Some pictures may display incompletely or not at all. To make more memory availiable, save your work and close other programs then try again.

I've tried increasing the availiable memory and it has made no difference.

I seem to vaguely remember this being a bug in publisher 2000. Have you run office update on the microsoft website to see if there's any updates available for the program that aren't installed? It's been a while since I've used that version!
