I've just asked Mike for a roadmap so we can see where it is going (hoping to see what additional support it may have for Vista / WDS.)

Hi,

 

this is the first time I've come across this product and I'm interested in using it at our school (we are setting up our network for the first time - new server, accounts for students & teachers....) Are Microsoft shipping this as an alternative to the likes of RM, Viglen (with future updates, services packs etc)??

It is un supported, lightly developed tool to help companies quickly set up generic systems in schools.

 

Part of the reason it is lightly developed is that it seems like only one person is working on it (it was just written by one person originally) but a chunk of work is being concentrated on Sharepoint, SLK and web parts.

 

If you go to the codeplex site you will be able to find the latest information as it is available.
