  1. i have a ad 2003 network with xp sp2 clients i have a bunch of laptops working on wifi (16 to be exact) and these are running stupidley slow for example if you try to use the internet it will take a very long time just to load internet explorer the laptops have the same gpo applied as the hard wired stations the only differance is the hardware spec and the programs that are installed any one got any ideas please

  5. just a update to say that after a long call with clicker (for the secand time) i got a updated client installer and all is now ok
  6. i have installed clicker 5 onto the system all seames to be working ok except that no user (even the administrator) can create a new grid ser the create icon is grayd out it seames to be a gpo that is stoping this working all is ok on a station not controled by the domain any ideas?

  12. i have since found that this was all caused by a dcom error all is now ok thanks
  13. i have an error in the application event log event id 12011 source lnm 2005 title lnm add application error message orriginator application_add function addnewapplication error failed to add the application ('acrobat') message failed to generate the aas file from (\\alh-svr-001\applications\acrobat\adobe reader 7.0.msi) file. msi error code. '(0)' hope this is of some help
  14. i can manuley deploy the msi all ok i can also manuley add it to the gpo and all works fine it is only a problem wen i want to add a new application to the system in "application library manager"
  15. when i am trying to add an application (msi) that is supplied by a venda i get an error message reporeting " the msi file is corrupt" but i no the msi is all ok as i have installed using it
