nickbro Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 (edited) Hi all, I'm currently working on both 6.3 and 7.0 (7.0 is a while off yet). I'm hoping to have 6.3 out tomorrow, which will fix a few, very small issues. But for v7, I was hoping to have a little surprise in there for you lot, Forms Authentication. Basically your users get redirected to ~/login.aspx to log in on which you can put some custom text. I think I've managed to crack the Impersonation issue that arises with Forms authentication. So anyone got any feedback on this? Edited May 14, 2011 by nickbro
sister_annex Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 Honestly, for us, no need, our FBA is taken care of by our ISA 2006 server - it's something our users are familiar with (for OWA and MIS access) so would probably not change it. Just my opinion of course
john Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 FBA would be great as we don't use ISA thus users are used to getting a nice logon screen for OWA, MIS Access etc so it would be great for us
nickbro Posted May 14, 2011 Author Posted May 14, 2011 Hi all, happy to see most of you would welcome this, I think I've managed to get the new AD Providers ready to go. The new system is actually quite intelligent and will only require a domain name to be entered once, along with 1 instance of your ad username & ad password.
