chazzy2501 Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 I bet it's the SWGFL again but just in case can some advise me on testing? I can send and recieve emails internally and send to external email addresses. But I've had no external emails for about 12 hours? What should I test and how? I've sent an email to myself from googlemail but it's not arrived, the one I sent to it arrived instantly.
irsprint84 Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 If exchange 2007 onwards use exchange tools in exchange console. Or simply email both to your internal and to another external account like hotmail 1
chazzy2501 Posted May 13, 2011 Author Posted May 13, 2011 Damn, the backup didn't run last weekend and those transport logs were not somethinged. Anyhow it would appear that the C drive on exchange is full! loosing those logs will only buy me a little time. is it easy to move the mailbox database? I'm in VM but I know I cant expand the c drive as it'll complain that it was created as a basic disk.
TheMan100 Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 Can't you just add another virtual disc? And then use this to help you: How can i move Exchange 2007 DB and storage group to another drive, I'm running out of space on C
sukh Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 1. If you're referring to transactions logs which caused the c@ drive to get full then you can move some off to a network share, leave the last 1 hours worht on there and MOVE the other to another location. Then perform a FULL backup. That is if this is the cause of your issue.
