I use Firefox to access Lloyds online business banking without any issues at all.

Are you using LloydsLink? As I mentioned earlier, most of the online banking with Lloyds works fine with most browsers, however the business-specific LloydsLink pages require ActiveX and IE - Lloyds support confirmed it won't work. :(

WineBottler: Old Wine in new bottles?:)

Could be single application answer.

Bank of Ireland had to reconfigure their webpage to cater for Safari (its an ActiveX thing). I believe their business users had problems using a Mac for the same reason.

No just the basic web interface/functions I'm afraid.

Thanks again everyone. Went with VirtualBox in the end and it worked perfectly (haven't tested LloydsLink personally as I don't have a login, but it's IE so it should work). Very responsive on the Air and fullscreen mode feels almost native.

Much appreciated!

I have never liked wine. I have always been a fan of Fusion, but that really just comes from familiarity with the VMWare brand.
