Exchange 2007 - some e-mail addresses not sending!

Hiya guys,

 

Need to pick your brains with my limited experience in Exchange.

 

I have a bit of an issue with a couple of email domains where staff are sending them, but they get a bounceback saying the following: -

 

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

 

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

 

Just to confirm - the emails the staff are sending to are valid as when they send it from their hotmail acounts as a test, it works fine and sends fine.

 

I'm just wondering whether on EMC the e-mail domain needs to be added or something like this to say it's fine to do. I'm guessing EMC doesn't like the e-mail domain and therefore doesn't send the email.

 

Everything else works perfectly well with other email domains staff send to - just a couple of email domains.

 

Is there something I'm missing here?

1. Can you post the NDR or PM me.

2. Test using OWA.

3. Clean the N2k cache or create a new profile for problem users and test.

4. Is only for some staff or all staff who send to this domain, i.e can you send internally from your mailbox to the same recipients.

Hi,

 

I will PM the NDR to you Sukh,

I've tested with OWA and does the same thing as well.

I've cleared the cache on one machine and does the same thing as well

And lastly from your suggestions - it is for all staff that can't send the emails to this domain. We can send all internal emails to all staff.

 

Any other suggestions?
