firefox_2006 Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Hi We are experiencing an issue when staff try to access videos on Youtube. Basically whenever they try and access the homepage for Youtube, the web browser (mostly IE8) will crash. Is anybody else experiencing such issue? If so how did you resolve it? To get round this we are having to get staff to visit google first and search for a video and then click on a link, thus bypassing the homepage, but even this is failing to work on some stations now.
p858snake Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 I can't think of anything on the homepage that would cause it, but i had a similar issue where watching videos was causing flash to crash and I just need to update the graphics drivers on the laptop. Tried starting IE without ad-ons enabled? any third party tools disabled (antivirus/terminal monitoring tools)?

I will give this a go......might also see if there is an update for the graphics drivers for the workstation.
