grahamd22 Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 (edited) I have tried using this RM Law GCSE exam software as a student and it closes with the error above but not as a Administrator. It uses workstationprocesslauncher.exe, xulrunner.exe, rm.scoris.delivery.workstationlauncher.exe and csc.exe. What do I need to authorise as I've tried them all in Ranger administrator settings, general, any more ideas? Edited April 5, 2011 by grahamd22
DAZZD88 Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 I've found that you have to do it via a process of elimination. Remove a program from your blocked list, logon as affected user and try it then repeat the process over and over until you can work out which part needs to be removed.
grahamd22 Posted April 5, 2011 Author Posted April 5, 2011 Well weirdly you can run the shortcut on the desktop as a student in one class (workstationprocesslauncher.exe)but I have had to create a different shortcut to access the software (rm.scoris.delivery.workstationlauncher.exe)and that works in the other classroom as a student I don't get it?
russdev Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 I do know some of the RM exam software uses XUL framework so may need to allow xulrunner.exe. As do not know ranger very well or that version of the exam software I can't advise any further...
