Hi,

Is there a way to hide the Startup Folder for student accounts in the start menu, but in a way so the stuff inside the folder still runs? I have put a script in there, i set the file to hidden but when that is set it doesnt run. Unhide it and it works again. I just dont want to student to see the script on the start menu.

I cant use the script as a logon script as i only want it to run on the terminal servers. Loopback doesnt seem to be playing for some reason so cant just set it for the server.

The only thing i have thought of is a redirected start menu & hide everything in the all users folder. But i want to only have it set on the terminal servers. But i dont think i can use this because loopback doesn't seem to be working. So for now i want to try and avoid this.

Any thoughts please?

Thanks

Its odd, it used to work just fine. The item in the startup folder is a shortcut to a script. I had this hidden and it worked ok until recently.

Thanks.

Security permissions changed?

Checked all that. Spend abit of time on it.

Just looking to see if there is a way to hide the startup folder.

Thanks
