All in One PC

Hi, we work for a specialist learning school. We have previously used elonex and then Dell PC. We need to have a touch screen all in one PC with an external VGA port to connect to a projector. The Dell model we used is now only input with its VGA connector. Can anyone offer advice please

We've bought some Lenovo all in ones that have an out port. Have to buy vga converter cable to go with them tho

Hi, thanks for response. Can you let me know the machine and cable you used. Did you need a converter for the HDMI output to VGA. Or did you use a cable only

how did you find the lenovos? Did you fasten the optional stand to it or use them as they came?

The MSI Wind Touch / Wind Top machines are supposed to be good

Lenovo ThinkCenter M90z. It had what they call a display port and you'll need a special cable/adaptor to plug in your external device. One issue we had with that is the projectors stadard display and the PC's widescreen so we had to output 1024x768 (or similar) to keep the aspect ration otherwise the output looked crap.

 

I find it's a nice piece of kit, I love the fact that the back comes off making it easy to upgrade/repair. It's basically using laptop mobo/parts but a decent sized HDD.

 

Using it as is, didn't come with a seperate stand but has one already built into the back which suffices

did anyone watch the gadget show last night with that lenovo laptop that tracked input from your eyes they didn't give a model but something like that would be brilliant for special needs users.
