Live Video Streaming

Hello,

 

I am pretty much a newbie with this but i have been asked to look into buying a system that will take live video streams from cameras that will link into one system. It might be up to as many as 4 cameras and it will need to have an input for a laptop to display the laptop screen. It will need to link into a projector. I want the ability to choose which camera to show add effects and show the laptop display when i want to.

If that is what it is. As i said i have no clue what i am looking for. Basically i run audio visual at a gymnastics competition and we want to be able to show replays and live streams from the cameras all advice would be lovely.
