I wondered if anyone had a way of tracking failed attempts of Administrator logins.

Obviously i just want to make sure no kids are trying

Can be done if you turn on auditing of logins but this produces a huge log as it records every time a computer contacts the server for GP updates and every time any login activity occurs for any user

Any easier way is to copy the administrator account named 'administrator' and name it something else. Set a really complex password on the original administrator account and then disable it.

or lwave the old admin account but make it say a guest with a logon script that records the pc it was attempted on the time/date then maybe makes a loud noise and logs off
