10 APs darted around the site, we get complete coverage with the APs with a few overlaps so some go to 1 AP, some go to another. 802.11G APs (2932 I believe the model is). And they are all plugged into gigabit switches yes. However with old Cat5e cabling serving as the infrastructure in this place, its sketchy at best as to the speed they APs get.

 

I'd say you don't have enough AP's in place for that volume of wireless clients - especially as the 2942 (only one I can find on their site) would provide about 20Mbps maximum to clients. Also, they only connect to the network via 100Mbps (they don't have gigabit ports themselves). And they're single radio, which has its own knock on effects.

 

I'd say a good option would be to look at replacing or augmenting your wireless with new 7363 APs. They're dual band, 1Gbps network connected, capable of a/b/g/n (so you'd ideally want to put some computers on n, some on a and some on g for best performance really).
