AnimationStep missing when running on a single laptop, issue no where else. Network install so i cant see the problem really? any ideas as RM replys are usual atleast 2 days?

How'd you get on with this? Was it Windows 7, by any chance? Did it prompt for running the Calibration Utility?

 

I'm having some issues myself with Server 2008 DC and Windows 7 x64 SP1... Snapshot and Manager do not run from the network with the following message:

Project exception (registry)

Cause: DefaultTimeout

 

Try to run the setup to install locally and the message: "OS not supported" is given.

 

Set compatibility mode to 'Windows XP service pack 2' as guided by RM Support to no avail.

How to install RM Snapshot on Windows Vista

 

Created a Windows XP Virtual PC (part of the the Windows 7 Pro OS) and tried to install it there too but came back with the same message.

 

The rest of the network is XP or Vista, running with no problems.

Thank you for your query.

 

RM no longer support RM Snapshot due to its incompatibility with later operating systems such as Windows 7 (both 32 and 64 bit versions).
