gibbo_ap Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 currently getting underway with moving to joomla and am looking what extensions i need. one feature required is a link on the home page 'newsletter' which links to the current newsletter. they also want the old ones archiving. anyideas currently i have to modify a link eachtime a newsletter is uploaded (when i remember)
Little-Miss Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 with my site (i'll pm it) i upload a PDF of the newsletter to a Component called RubberDoc or something wierd like that. That adds it to a list of previous newsletters (our archive) then i add a link to the new newsletter on the front page. Make sense? 1
Rydra Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 I'd be interested in seeing the same thing if possible; we have a weekly PDF newsletter, and I want to make it as easy as possible for the admin staff to be able to do it, rather than the current system where I have to edit the html of website to include a new link, upload the new document etc etc.

Does RubberDoc have a frontend gui for, say, admin staff to upload files?
Little-Miss Posted March 4, 2011 Posted March 4, 2011 erm to be honest i dont know!! I can't get anyone to do anything with the site apart from me, so i've never really looked for one. A quick inspection though and it looks like the answer is no unfortuantely....unless im missing something.
