farquea Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 We have bought 2 new HP CP2025's, initially to be put in the Head's office and in his PA's office. They currently have a HP 2605's in each room. But now im thinking if they would be better used in a classroom as they are obviously newer technology, better spec, but my only worry is that i dont want to be changing the toner's in the CP2025's all the time as the toners look very small in capacity compared to the 2605 toners. Now i cant find any details on toner capacity for each type of toner, any suggestions on which would be better suited for where?
Haptic Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Your call on suitability but stats are as follows: HP CP2025 - toner cartridge Black Up to 3500 pages, colours Up to 2800 pages, then on the HP 2605 (with everyones favorite Q6000 range of toners) Black Up to 2500 pages at 5% coverage and Colour Up to 2000 pages at 5% coverage. Hope that helps. Mark 1
farquea Posted February 28, 2011 Author Posted February 28, 2011 so i'll actually get more out of the CP2025's?? thats surprised me. If that is the case then im more likely to put them in a classroom i think as they will probably cope better when 30 kids throw massive powerpoint documents at it which is where the 2605's tend to lock up and cause us problems.
witch Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 I've got 2025s in each year group and they seem to last a reasonable time and don't lock up very often.
