Gerry Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 And with an Intel D945 chipset too! Or is it a PC with delusions of grandeur??? This is an actual capture. If it was actually running at 21Ghz though, the chip would probably have exploded!
tech_guy Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 (edited) I've seen something similar on an ancient NEC PC that was running XP - it had got its knickers in a twist and was misreporting the CPU speed and the amount of RAM. When we popped the cover a load of the caps were bulging on the mobo. Edited February 23, 2011 by tech_guy
SYNACK Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Totally photoshop, a Pentium. D or otherwise would be hot enough to ignite the atmosphere at that clockrate and since the sky is not burning I call shenanigans. Sure the chip would literally breakdown at the atomic level at those energy levels but it is a less impressive image.
Jawloms Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 It might just about be quick enough to run Vista at that clock speed, just need anouther 31GB of RAM and you'll be well away!
Gerry Posted February 23, 2011 Author Posted February 23, 2011 Honestly, not photoshopped. The computer was taken away and put into a straightjacket shortly after I took capture.
SYNACK Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 It is an Intel chip, they never were to good at maths
