pete Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 For those of you who have Eclipse .Net internally, how many of you have made it available externally? How did it go / perform? I'm not terribly comfortable putting it on the Internet simply because I don't trust the programmers to write decent (read: secure) code and $LEA forbids DMZs. So a compromised host is compromised and sat on our internal LAN. Given Eclipse needs to talk to AD for users, I'm even less enthusiastic about it.
Domino Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 Could you put it on a new VLAN with a Read-Only domain controller on the same? Sorry, not a user of eclipse myself - just an idea for risk-mitigation. Otherwise it sounds like a major nightmare...
