plexer Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 (edited) Saw this on a Hak5 CES segment last night: http://www.grippity.com/site/products.html I've pre-ordered mine Ben Edited February 18, 2011 by plexer
LeMarchand Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 Cool! Bit worried by the out-of-date info on the site and that clicking on the "Coming Next" thing doesn't seem to work, though...
plexer Posted February 18, 2011 Author Posted February 18, 2011 Well they will only ask for money once they are ready to ship so it's only really and expression of interest at this point. One of their other prototypes that they demoed in the video segment was a playstation type controller with the back typing lcd panel below it. Ben
plexer Posted December 18, 2013 Author Posted December 18, 2013 Rise from the dead necro thread rise I tell thee follow your masters commands. Lol. Looks like they gave up on that particular thing and have moved on to a new version grippity.com goes to their kickstarter. Ben
LeMarchand Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 I got that email, too - but wasn't brave enough to risk summoning a zombie thread! Now it's shambling, I'll add that recently I picked up an iTable Keyboard for under £20 (possibly under a tenner) new from eBay, but can't get there from work. Pros: Small and light, can light up keys, battery life seems good, USB charging, touchpad easy to get hang of, price (if you don't pay RRP) Cons: Not great for typing - backspace is on a Function Key, as is Windows (so no W8 shortcuts) though the arrows, ESC and backspace are on the Fn keys, so this means most of the ones you might want to control your media machine are there. Worth a punt for a tenner.
