File Wont open and has no properties

Hello Peeps

 

My First Post here... tell me if im being a numpty lol

 

I’m tempted to say… Hmmm that’s strange!?? Lol… but

 

Can you help me with a few suggestions for this problem I have come across?

 

A teacher here has asked me to look at a file cos he cant open it ….

 

I found the file and tried to open it which it wouldn’t and when I R-Clicked it, it didn’t have a “properties” tab…. The files all have the correct icons for the programs needed to open them they were 2 word files a PDF and a powerpoint

 

Any Ideas?

What media are the files on ?

I normally see that behaviour on corrupted mem sticks, can you see the file size for any of them ?

They were just Word documents, powerpoints and PDF's...

 

I think having gone thru the folders that the teacher had buried them in it was a file length problem as having reduced some of the file names they are now working
