Hi Everyone,

I have just installed the Edugeek Joomla Template.

Looks very nice however I have a couple of questions...

I would really like to have a menu on the site...somewhere near where the school logo is, how can I put this in?

Also the default logo (demo edugeek school logo) is showing on the site at the moment, where can I find where to change this image? I know I can simply replace the existing image thats there however would be good if I could change the location of the image...

Thanks in advance!

Not sure what the issue with the menu is as the edugeek template does come with a menu across the top near the logo. Perhaps post a screen shot so we can see your front page?

You can change the location of your logo by altering the HTML. Find this block and alter the bit in bold:

Hmm there is definately no menu...would you suggest a re-install maybe?

Ok that is odd.

The template should give you a menu like my website here.

No for some reason it doesn't...that menu is exactly what I want though!...

If you open the link I posted you can see on the demo site there is no menu either :-( ...I don't suppose you have a copy of the template anywhere with the menu included?!

Have a look in the module manager filter on mod_mainmenu, (I'm not too sure what it will be called but because i don't use this template) have a look to see if there is a menu in the module position you may need to look at the template manager>>> select your template>>>> preview to see which module postion it is.

Ok I can see main menu however it does not look to be enabled...it won't let me tick the box next to it either to enable it...infract there is no box to the left of it to select in order to tick it to enable...hope that makes some sense?!

If you look to the right there is either a cross or tick to show if it is enabled, you can click on this to toggle the setting.

there is no tick or cross...sorry.
